Церква Святої Софії — Премудрості Божої, Greek Catholic church in Lviv, Ukraine
The Saint Sophia Church features three distinct levels, including the main temple, the lower church of Saint Clement, and the crypt of the Holy Sepulcher.
The church received its consecration on September 11, 2016, during an episcopal liturgy led by the Major Archbishop of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
The bells of Saint Sophia Church carry names of significant figures from the Ukrainian Catholic University history, including Pope John Paul II.
The church welcomes visitors from Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with services held regularly throughout the week.
The architectural design by Ivan Berezhnytsky incorporates three temples on different tiers, representing various periods of Christian history.
