The Church of Saint Sophia features a combination of baroque architecture with a central bell tower and detailed frescoes depicting biblical scenes.
Built in the early 17th century as a wooden chapel, the structure was later reconstructed in brick and underwent modifications during the 18th century.
The church interior displays numerous religious artworks, frescoes, and decorative elements that represent traditional Eastern European Catholic artistic expressions.
Religious services occur daily, with guided tours available from 10:00 to 16:00, except during mass times and religious celebrations.
The bell tower contains a collection of historical bells, including one dating from 1637 that still rings during important religious ceremonies.
