In 1932, Defense Minister Voroshilov established the theater for the Black Sea Fleet, which continued performances during World War II on ships and front lines.
The theater presents Russian literary classics, military-themed productions, and children's performances throughout regular seasons in the Russian language.
The theater box office operates Wednesday through Friday from 14:00 to 18:30, and weekends from 11:00 to 18:30, accepting cash payments only.
During a wartime performance of 'Front' by Korneychuk, actors borrowed uniforms from military audience members after bombing destroyed their costumes.
