The Lavrenev Russian Drama Theater of the Black Sea Fleet is a playhouse with around 570 seats located at Ushakov Square in central Sevastopol. The building provides an intimate venue where theater performances have taken place for many decades.
The theater was founded in 1932 by Defense Minister Voroshilov for the Black Sea Fleet. During World War II, performers staged shows on ships and at front lines to support the troops.
