Yunist Stadium

Yunist Stadium is a sports facility in Chernihiv with seating for 3,000 spectators, featuring an artificial turf pitch and modern athletics tracks. The complex also includes smaller soccer fields and long-jump areas used for various training programs.

The stadium was founded in 1975 as a local sports center for the region. Between 2017 and 2020, it underwent major renovation work that updated its equipment and facilities to meet current standards.

A museum dedicated to local football history sits within the stadium grounds, displaying regional sports achievements and memorabilia from past decades. This space reflects how deeply the sport is woven into the community's identity.

The facility is easily reached via main city roads and provides parking space and renovated changing areas for visitors. The training grounds are accessible outdoors and suitable for different age groups and skill levels.

Well-known Ukrainian footballer Andriy Yarmolenko launched his career at the youth academy here before gaining international fame. This shows how important the facility has been in developing young talent in the region.
