Uman Raion

Uman Raion is an administrative district in central Ukraine covering fertile agricultural lands and gently rolling terrain within Cherkasy Oblast. It comprises several smaller administrative units with the city of Uman serving as its main urban center where local governance operates.

This raion was established in 2020 during Ukraine's administrative restructuring that consolidated multiple earlier district divisions. The reorganization created a more streamlined governance structure for the entire territory.
