Port of Liverpool Building, Grade II* listed office building at Pier Head, Liverpool, England.
The Port of Liverpool Building stands in reinforced concrete with Portland limestone cladding and copper details, featuring a central dome and maritime decorations.
Constructed between 1904 and 1907, architect Arnold Thornely designed this structure to serve as headquarters for the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board until 1994.
The building forms part of the Three Graces, alongside the Royal Liver Building and Cunard Building, representing Liverpool's maritime commercial power.
Following a £10 million restoration completed in 2009, the five-story building maintains modern office spaces while preserving its Edwardian architectural elements.
The structure required specialized deep foundations due to its location on the former George's Dock site, addressing challenges from water resistance near River Mersey.
