Little Norway, Wisconsin, Living museum in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, United States.
The site spans 53 acres with traditional Norwegian structures including a stabbur, sod-roofed cabin, spring house, and family dwellings from the mid-19th century.
Norwegian immigrant Osten Olson Haugen established the original farm during the 1850s, constructing buildings using timber harvested directly from the property.
The Norway Building incorporated elements of Norse stave church architecture and served as the Norwegian Pavilion at the 1893 Chicago World's Columbian Exposition.
The living museum operated until 2012, when financial constraints led to its closure and the subsequent relocation of the Norway Building to its original country.
Chicago businessman Isak Dahle created this Norwegian village in the 1930s, naming it Nissedahle as a tribute to his heritage and family.
