Goochland County, Administrative county in central Virginia, US
Goochland County extends along both sides of the James River, covering 281 square miles of land in the Piedmont region of Virginia.
The territory became a separate county from Henrico Shire in 1728, named after Sir William Gooch, who served as royal lieutenant governor of Virginia.
