Northville

Northville is a city spread across Wayne and Oakland Counties in Michigan with a varied landscape of neighborhoods and older sections. The terrain features gentle elevation changes and a mix of residential areas with preserved historical buildings throughout.

European Americans established the first settlement in 1825 in this area. The community was formally organized as a village in 1867 and later incorporated as a city in 1955.

A Ford Motor Company factory operated here from 1919 to 1981 manufacturing valves for vehicles, leaving a major mark on the city's industrial past. Few visitors realize how deeply this factory shaped the economy and growth of the entire community.
