The Cincinnati Museum Center contains three distinct museums, an OMNIMAX theater, and temporary exhibition spaces within its limestone and steel structure.
Originally constructed as a train terminal in 1933, the building was designed by architect Alfred T. Fellheimer and received National Historic Landmark status.
The museum features exhibits about natural history, science, local heritage, plus dedicated spaces for children to learn through interactive displays.
Located 2 miles northwest of downtown Cincinnati, the museum center provides parking facilities and remains open Thursday through Monday from 10 AM to 5 PM.
The central rotunda reaches 106 feet high and includes industrial murals by Winold Reiss depicting the history of Cincinnati transportation and commerce.
