Tiger Stadium, Baseball stadium in Detroit, Michigan.
Tiger Stadium, previously known as Navin Field and Briggs Stadium, was a baseball park located in the Corktown neighborhood of Detroit, Michigan.
The stadium was home to the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball from 1912 to 1999, and the Detroit Lions of the National Football League from 1938 to 1974.
It hosted four World Series, three MLB All-Star Games, and concerts by The Rolling Stones and other notable artists.
The stadium was demolished in 2009 and replaced by a mixed-use development called The Corner Ballpark.
Despite its demolition, the Detroit Police Athletic League (PAL) maintains a playing field at the corner where the stadium once stood.
