DTE Energy Headquarters

DTE Energy Headquarters is an office complex in downtown Detroit consisting of three interconnected buildings, including the Walker Cisler Building with 25 floors. The complex provides substantial office space equipped for the energy company's operations.

Construction of the complex began in 1965 under architect Emery Roth and was completed in 1971 in the International style. The project shaped the downtown's post-war architectural evolution.

The complex includes public spaces and landscaped areas threaded with walkways that lead toward neighboring attractions. These spaces invite both visitors and workers to explore the downtown district and linger in the area.

The complex is easily accessible with barrier-free entrances to buildings and ample parking available. Visitors can freely explore the public areas during daytime hours, though some interior spaces may be restricted.

An antenna spire rises from the roof, substantially extending the building's visual height above the street. This feature makes the structure a distinctly recognizable point on Detroit's skyline.
