Tiger Stadium was a baseball field in the Corktown neighborhood where local and visiting teams competed. The playing field sat deep within the structure, while the stands rose in multiple tiers and brought many spectators close to the action.
The site hosted baseball from 1912 onward and changed names several times before receiving its final designation in 1961. The last game took place in 1999, after which the structure stood empty until demolition occurred mostly in 2009.
The infield area went by the nickname „The Corner
