Roosevelt Room, Government room in United States
The Roosevelt Room is a meeting room in the West Wing of the White House, home of the President's personal staff.
The room was an original 1902 addition to the White House by McKim, Mead & White. During the administration of John F. Kennedy, it was used as a parlor and waiting room, and renamed the Roosevelt Room during the tenure of president Richard Nixon.
The room is named for two related U.S. presidents, Theodore Roosevelt and Franklin D. Roosevelt.
The Roosevelt Room serves as a meeting space, and is located in close proximity to the Oval Office
Theodore Roosevelt decorated the walls with hunting trophies; his grandson, Quentin, added more animals heads.
