St. Benedict Cathedral, Roman Catholic cathedral in Evansville, US.
The Lombard-Basilica style cathedral features a 130-foot campanile, Italian marble altars, and stained glass windows from Munich's Zettler Art Glass Company.
Founded in 1912 to serve Catholics east of downtown Evansville, the current cathedral structure was completed in 1928 under architect Edward J. Thole's direction.
The cathedral maintains the Benedictine tradition through regular masses, community gatherings, and educational programs that connect parishioners with their spiritual heritage.
The cathedral holds services on Saturday at 4:30 pm, Sunday at 8:00 am and 10:30 am, with weekday masses from Tuesday through Saturday at 9:00 am.
The cathedral interior reaches heights of 65 feet and accommodates over 1,000 people, making it the third cathedral of the Diocese of Evansville since 1999.
