Adventureland

Adventureland is an amusement park in Farmingdale on Long Island in New York state, featuring more than thirty rides for families, from roller coasters to water attractions. The grounds are divided into several zones, each designed for different age groups.

The park opened in 1962 and quickly became a destination for families from New York City and surrounding communities. Over the following decades, the site expanded its offerings with new rides and themed areas.

The park maintains traditional carnival games alongside modern attractions, preserving the essence of American amusement park entertainment from the mid-20th century.

The main season runs from March through the fall, during which the grounds are open most days. At the entrance, day tickets and season passes are available for multiple visits.

Some rides date back to the early decades of the park and recall the American carnival tradition of the sixties. Military personnel receive reduced rates, while toddlers under two years old enter for free.
