Bartram's Covered Bridge, Covered bridge in Newtown Township, Pennsylvania, US

The wooden structure spans Crum Creek with a length of 30 feet and features a Burr Truss design connecting Goshen Road between Delaware and Chester Counties.

Ferdinand Wood constructed this bridge in 1860, making it the last remaining covered bridge among the original 30 that existed in Delaware County.

The bridge dimensions were specifically determined to accommodate a load of hay, reflecting the agricultural needs of the local community during its construction.

The National Register of Historic Places listed structure stands next to a modern bridge and remains accessible for pedestrian viewing throughout the year.

This covered bridge presents distinctive slanted planks at each entrance, making it the only structure of its kind in Pennsylvania with this architectural feature.
