Burke–Tarr Stadium

Burke-Tarr Stadium is a modern sports facility on the Carson-Newman University campus, built with steel framing and concrete seating sections. The playing surface uses FieldTurf technology and holds about 6,500 spectators across multiple entrance points.

The original stadium was built in 1966 and became home to the university's football team for decades. It was replaced in 2005 with a new facility that opened during Homecoming festivities.

The stadium serves as a gathering place for the university community and college sports supporters. During home games, you can see how central collegiate football is to campus life.

Access to the venue is straightforward through four separate entrance points with clear seating arrangements. It is advisable to arrive early for popular home games, as the stadium fills up quickly during the football season.
