Cape Cod Melody Tent, Circular tent theater in Hyannis, United States
The Cape Cod Melody Tent features a circular structure with 2,300 seats, providing performance space for concerts and theatrical productions during summer months.
Established in 1950 as Cape Cod Music Circus, the theater underwent ownership changes until South Shore Playhouse Associates acquired it in March 1990.
The venue maintains its position as one of only two remaining tent theaters in the round operating continuously in the United States.
The theater operates seasonally from May through September, offering modern sound systems, updated seating, and a vinyl tent with Cupola ventilation.
Performances take place under a tent structure that allows audiences to experience shows in an outdoor setting while maintaining professional acoustics.
