Chancellor's Residence, Official residence in Shadyside, Pittsburgh, United States.
The Chancellor's Residence exhibits Colonial Revival architecture with symmetrical facades, double-hung windows, and decorative moldings throughout its exterior and interior spaces.
Built in 1896 by architects Peabody & Stearns, the residence was donated to the University of Pittsburgh in 1966 by Leon Falk Jr.
The residence functions as a central location for university gatherings, educational discussions, and ceremonies that connect academic leadership with the community.
Located at 718 Devonshire Street, approximately half a mile from the Cathedral of Learning, the residence stands next to the University Child Development Center.
The side porch design preserves the main street facade, demonstrating an architectural solution that maintains the building's formal appearance while adding functional space.
