The Church of St. Michael features pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and detailed stained glass windows displaying religious figures throughout the structure.
Constructed in 1890, this church replaced an earlier structure from 1866 and became the largest religious building in Wright County at that time.
The church incorporates German woodcarvings and statues, reflecting the heritage of its initial congregation while serving an expanding community since 1985.
The historic building maintains regular Friday Mass schedules during school terms, with a newer facility constructed in 2004 for additional services.
The structure earned National Register of Historic Places recognition in 1979 for its architectural merit and role in local settlement patterns.
