Connect

Connect is a bronze sculpture in Riverside Park depicting a raccoon with human-like features holding a fish. The base incorporates woodland imagery including trees, insects, and a salamander that represent the local natural environment.

The sculpture was selected through a committee process by the Urban Ecology Center in 2003 when four artists presented their concepts at Riverside University High School. This selection launched the artwork as part of the park's development.
