Đồng Xoài

Đồng Xoài is the provincial capital of Bình Phước in southern Vietnam. The city sits approximately 100 kilometers north of Ho Chi Minh City and serves as the central administrative hub for the region.

The city became the site of a major battle in 1965 during the Vietnam War. The fighting between American Special Forces and local units marked an important moment in the region's military history.

The administrative structure of Dong Xoai includes six distinct wards and two communes, each maintaining local governance practices and community traditions.

National Highway 14 connects the city to other major centers and makes travel to important destinations straightforward. Visitors will find a functioning provincial city with basic facilities for daily needs.

The city's climate is marked by extreme heat and high moisture levels. Temperatures can exceed 40 degrees Celsius, while humidity remains consistently between 68 and 87 percent.
