Norwegian Museum of Hydropower and Industry, Industrial heritage museum in Tyssedal, Norway.

The Norwegian Museum of Hydropower and Industry exhibits machinery, control room equipment, and technological innovations from the former Tysso I power station.

Built between 1906 and 1918, the Tysso I power station operated continuously until 1989, generating electricity for local industries and communities.

The museum preserves the stories of power plant workers through photographs, documents, and personal artifacts that illustrate daily life in industrial Norway.

Visitors can join guided tours that include access to the power station, administration building, and upstream installations at Lilletopp and Ringedals Dam.

The museum features a via ferrata climbing route along the original pipeline system, allowing visitors to experience the steep terrain industrial workers navigated.
