The Well Spa, Thermal bath and sauna complex in Nordre Follo, Norway
The Well Spa is a thermal bath and sauna complex with 11 pools, 15 saunas, steam rooms, and over 100 showers arranged in indoor and outdoor sections. The grounds include landscaped gardens that connect the different water and heat experiences across the property.
The facility received the Norwegian Lighting Prize for Best Indoor Project in 2016, marking an important recognition in the Nordic wellness industry. This award reflected the quality of its design and established it as a reference point for contemporary spa development.
The facility brings together Japanese bathhouse traditions, European sauna customs, and Middle Eastern hamam treatments in separate dedicated zones. Visitors experience these different wellness approaches during a single visit.
The complex is located about 15 minutes from Oslo and is easy to reach by car. Two on-site restaurants serve different dining styles: Restaurant Mori offers fine cuisine while Brasseriet provides casual meals where you can dine in your swimwear.
