Lion's Head, Limestone monument along Kennon Road in Baguio City, Philippines

The Lion's Head statue rises 40 feet tall along Kennon Road, featuring a detailed representation of a lion with prominent facial features and mane.

The Lions Club of Baguio initiated the construction of this monument in 1968, with sculptor Reynaldo Lopez Nanyac completing the work in 1972.

Local Ifugao artists transformed a natural rock formation into this enduring symbol of the Lions Club service organization in the Philippines.

Travelers can access the monument at Camp 6 near the Baguio-Tuba boundary, where a dedicated parking area allows for photography stops.

The monument underwent reconstruction after the 1990 earthquake, maintaining its original limestone structure while adapting its size and form.
