Bell Church, Chinese temple in Balili, La Trinidad, Philippines
Bell Church occupies 10,000 square meters of elevated land, featuring traditional Chinese gazebos, koi ponds, and guardian lions near the main worship structure.
Ng Pee from Guangzhou established the temple in 1960, initially named Chinese Buddhist Temple, to serve the growing Chinese Filipino community in Benguet.
The temple incorporates five patron saints representing Islam, Confucianism, Christianity, Taoism, and Buddhism, reflecting an interfaith approach to spiritual practices.
The temple welcomes visitors daily from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an entrance fee of 20 pesos per person and additional parking charges.
Chinese calligraphy inscriptions decorate the walls throughout the complex, while circular pagodas on the upper slope contain ancestral shrines.
