Our Lady of the Philippines Trappist Monastery

The Our Lady of the Philippines Trappist Monastery stands within extensive grounds where monks dedicate their lives to prayer and contemplative practices.

Established on August 31, 1972, the monastery represents the first and only Trappist community in the Philippines, marking a significant expansion of the order.

The monastery follows the Rule of Saint Benedict, where 35 monks maintain traditional practices of prayer, work, and communal living throughout their daily schedule.

Visitors can purchase locally produced goods at the monastery shop, including pineapple and mango jams made from fruits grown in the surrounding orchards.

The monastery maintains its position as the single Trappist establishment across the Philippine archipelago, operating under the leadership of Abbot Filomeno Cinco.
