Church of Nossa Senhora da Assunção

The Church of Nossa Senhora da Assunção is a Catholic place of worship on Santa Maria Island with pointed arched doorways on its sides. Inside stands the Chapel of Santa Catarina, which features a ribbed vaulted ceiling and houses carved woodwork and religious artworks from earlier centuries.
