Reformed church of Turda-Veche, Reformed church in central Turda, Romania.
The Gothic church features a single nave measuring 26 meters in length, 8.5 meters in width, and reaches a height of 16 meters.
Originally established by the Knights of Saint John in 1274, the church later served Augustinian monks from 1450 until the mid-16th century.
The church represents the religious transformation of Turda, which became the first Romanian town to declare religious freedom for all faiths in 1568.
Located at Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu Street 1, the church stands next to the Turda History Museum in the former Voivodal Palace.
Archaeological excavations between 2018 and 2020 revealed the foundation of a triumphal arch and early 14th-century architectural elements beneath the current structure.
