Constructed in 1823 by free peasants known as Mosneni, the building combines stone foundations with oak-framed walls in traditional Romanian architectural style.
The Union of Architects transformed the restored building into a center for researching rural architectural heritage and teaching traditional crafts to young artisans.
Visitors need to schedule appointments to access the house, which operates Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM.
The structure displays architectural elements similar to Oltenian mansions while incorporating defensive features, suggesting its potential role as a garrison accommodation.
