Грачёвский парк

Grachyovskiy Park is a green estate in Moscow featuring old trees, walking paths, and a pond where ducks live throughout the year. The grounds include buildings from the original manor estate, including a rehabilitation center that has operated there for many decades.

The estate originated as a manor property in the Moscow region during a period when such country estates were common. After World War Two, the buildings were repurposed for medical use, a function that has continued for generations.

A memorial here honors the Panfilov Heroes who fought against German forces in 1941, serving as a place where people pause to remember their sacrifice. This monument shapes how visitors experience the grounds and connects the park's past to its present role in the neighborhood.

The grounds sit close to Khovrino metro station, making them easy to reach by public transport. Be aware that many paths need repairs and can become slippery during wet weather.

The park covers a section of the Likhoborka River, which was channeled underground during the Soviet era. This hidden waterway still flows beneath the grounds today, though its route remains invisible to visitors.
