Dynamo Stadium

Dynamo Stadium is a football venue in Stavropol with seating capacity for around 15,500 spectators arranged on yellow seats. The grass field measures 107 by 72 meters and follows standard dimensions for professional football matches.

The stadium was founded in 1920 and underwent several renovations over the decades to keep it modern and functional. Major renovation work occurred in 1948, 1953, 1966, 1997, 2000, and most recently from 2018 to 2019.

The stadium serves as home ground for FC Dynamo Stavropol, drawing supporters who gather to watch regional football matches together. It functions as a gathering place where the local sports community comes together to cheer for their team.

The stadium sits in central Stavropol near Lenin Square and is easy to reach from nearby transport hubs. It stands about 7 minutes from the bus terminal and around 15 minutes from the airport.

The western grandstand was designed by architect Y. Makhrov and features summer cafes alongside a distinctive red VIP section with the only roof cover. This design element stands out as visitors often overlook how this shaded area contrasts with the rest of the open seating.
