The grounds include several building sections with treatment rooms, laboratories, and support departments that together accommodate more than 1800 patients.

The emergency department operates around the clock and admits patients with acute infections. Scheduled consultations and preliminary examinations are arranged by phone, and the hospital also offers telemedicine appointments for patients who cannot visit in person.
The medical staff includes 34 doctors with research degrees and professorships who work in both research and teaching. In addition to regular treatment rooms, the hospital runs several research departments where new therapies for infectious diseases are developed.
