The Carl Schmidt revenue house stands at the intersection of Khersonskaya Street and Perekupnoy Lane, featuring decorative patterns and sculptural designs.
Constructed between 1900 and 1901, this revenue house represents an era when Saint Petersburg experienced rapid urban development and population growth.
The building received recognition as a regional cultural heritage site in 2009 through the Committee for State Inspection and Protection of Historical Landmarks.
Located at Khersonskaya Street 13, the multifamily residential structure maintains its original function of providing housing for numerous residents.
The building exhibits architectural elements designed by Carl Schmidt himself, who later relocated to Magdeburg, Germany during the events of 1918.
