The park covers 87 hectares along the raised banks of the Volga and combines walking paths, sports grounds, and recreation zones. The layout offers different areas for various activities and allows visitors to move between natural spaces and leisure facilities.

The park's creation began in 1969 to mark the 500th anniversary of the city, with its official opening in January 1978. This project was an important step in building public space for the community and honoring the city's history.

The park displays wooden sculptures that reflect Chuvash traditions, including artworks carved from oak logs and a multi-petaled Rose of Peace installation. These pieces tell stories of local heritage and invite visitors to discover the symbolic meanings behind them.

The park sits along Maxim Gorky Avenue and offers food vendors, restrooms, winter ice skating areas, and children's play spaces. The different sections are easy to reach on foot and well organized for day visits.

Generation Alley contains 20 spruce trees planted in 2004 to honor people who contributed to the park's development and upkeep. These trees grow together as a living monument to community effort.
