Vilhelmina Municipality

Vilhelmina is a municipality in Västerbotten County in northern Sweden. The landscape features dense forests, a large lake, and flowing streams that create a varied terrain.

The settlement received its current name in 1804 as a tribute to a Swedish queen. This naming marked an important moment in the region's development.
