Tureberg is the central hub of Sollentuna Municipality, located roughly 13 kilometers north of central Stockholm. The railway station at this location opened in 1866 as part of the Stockholm-Uppsala line and retained its original name until being renamed Sollentuna Station in 1968. This change reflected the growing importance of the area as the administrative center for the municipality.
