Sollentuna Municipality

Located 15 kilometers north of Stockholm, Sollentuna Municipality extends over 58 square kilometers, including 5 square kilometers of lakes and waterways.

The municipality emerged from a 12th-century parish and gained its current administrative status in 1971, developing rapidly after the Uppsala-Stockholm railway arrived in 1866.

The Edsvik area maintains Swedish heritage through regular exhibitions, while four nature reserves offer spaces for outdoor activities throughout all seasons.

Five stations on the Stockholm commuter rail line and an extensive bus network connect residents to central Stockholm and Arlanda International Airport.

The municipality adds approximately 500 new residential units annually, focusing on vertical development near transit stations while maintaining established green spaces.
