Váha, Mountain pass scenic viewpoint in Poprad District, Slovakia.
The Váha viewpoint stands at 2340 meters elevation between the peaks of Rysy and Ťažký štít in the High Tatras mountain range.
The establishment of hiking trails around Váha in the late 19th century marked the beginning of organized tourism in the High Tatras region.
The name Váha, meaning weighing scale in Slovak, reflects the geographical features of this mountain pass separating two distinct valleys.
Visitors can access the viewpoint through marked trails from Popradské pleso, with the hiking season running from June 16th to October 31st.
The location connects the Dolina Žabích ples in Mengusovská dolina to the west with the Ťažká dolina in Bielovodská dolina to the east.
