Pachoľa

The pyramid-shaped Pachoľa peak rises to 2167 meters above sea level, offering views toward the Chocske Vrchy and western Tatra regions.

The mountain's trails have served as passage routes through the Western Tatras since the establishment of Tatra National Park's protected area system.

Local mountaineering traditions include annual summer gatherings at Pachoľa's summit, where Slovak hikers share their experiences and knowledge.

Visitors can access the summit through marked trails from Zverovka in Rohacska Dolina, with accommodation available at Ziarska Chata and Tatliakova mountain shelters.

The summit features a secondary peak called Plačlivé nad Vrecom at 2130 meters, creating a distinctive double-peaked silhouette in the mountain range.
