Chok Chai is an administrative district in Nakhon Ratchasima comprising ten sub-districts spread across approximately 504 square kilometers. The landscape consists mainly of agricultural fields and small settlements situated at roughly 182 meters in elevation.
History
The district was originally called Krathok but was renamed to Chok Chai in 1945. This name change was connected to a significant military event during that period of Thai history.
