Jut Art Museum, Art museum in Daan, Taiwan.
The Jut Art Museum is a modern art collection in Taipei focused on contemporary work, urban architecture, and future studies. The building combines gallery spaces with planted areas on the ground floor that provide visitors with a flowing transition between art and the street.
The museum opened in 2016 to commemorate both the 30th anniversary of Jut Land Development and the 10th anniversary of Jut Foundation. This founding reflected a long-standing commitment by the organization toward urban development and supporting contemporary art.
The museum displays work by artists from Taiwan and abroad while exploring questions about urban development and the future. Visitors encounter through the exhibitions how architecture and artistic practice shape city life today.
The building regularly hosts lectures, forums, workshops, and rotating exhibitions focused on topics like urban planning and societal change. Plan time to walk through the planted areas on the ground floor, which invite you to linger and rest.
Japanese architect Jun Aoki designed the interior spaces while designer Atsuki Kikuchi created the museum's identification system. This collaboration marked the first Taiwan museum project undertaken by these two creative partners.
