The Regional Academic Musical-Dramatic Theatre Mykola Kulish presents theatrical productions and musical performances in a neoclassical building with decorated interiors and modern stage equipment.
Established in 1936, the theater began its journey with the performance of 'Winners of Death' by V. Vlasov and received academic status in 2005.
The theater honors Ukrainian playwright Mykola Kulish through regular performances of national dramatic works and hosts the International Theatre Festival Melpomena of Tavria.
Visitors can purchase tickets at the box office located at 7 Gorky Street or through online platforms, with performances scheduled throughout the theatrical season.
The theater survived significant damage during World War II and emerged as a center for performing arts, now presenting ten new productions each year.
