Potocki palace in Sheptitskyi, Baroque palace in Chervonohrad, Ukraine.

Potocki Palace is a Baroque structure in Chervonohrad built with three floors arranged in an H-shaped design. Its exterior walls display rusticated stonework and decorative stucco details that frame the building's formal appearance.

The palace was founded in 1692 when Feliks Kazimierz Potocki established Krystynopol as the center of his estates. The structure was designed to serve as the principal building of this new settlement.

The palace reflects the tastes of the Potocki family, Polish nobility who favored French classical design elements. These preferences are visible in the decorative details you notice while walking around the exterior.

The palace sits in the center of Chervonohrad, formerly called Krystynopol, making it easy to find while walking through downtown. The building is currently in administrative use, so check ahead to see if visits are possible.

In 1919 an American pilot named Edmund Graves crashed his aircraft into the palace during an aerial demonstration. This unusual incident left its mark on the building's story.
