Petro Sahaidachny monument, Bronze monument in Kharkiv, Ukraine
The Petro Sahaidachny monument features a full-length bronze figure of the Cossack leader standing in a commanding position at the center of Kharkiv.
The monument relocated from Sevastopol to Kharkiv in 2014, following the territorial changes in Crimea, and received its new installation on August 22, 2015.
The monument represents Sahaidachny's role in strengthening the Zaporozhian Cossacks and developing connections between military and religious institutions in Ukraine.

The bronze statue commemorates Sahaidachny's successful defense against Ottoman forces in 1621, which established Cossacks as a major military force in Eastern Europe.
