Tokivskyi vodospad, Natural waterfall in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine
Tokivskyi is a waterfall on the Kamyanka River in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with multiple cascades flowing over granite formations. The water drops across reddish granite blocks, creating different levels along its course.
The area was once home to many rare plant species documented in the Ukrainian Red Book. Granite mining nearby later altered the ecological composition of this landscape.
Local people call this waterfall Chervone Kaminnya, which refers to the distinctive reddish granite rocks that shape the water flow. This coloring makes the spot easily recognizable across the region.
Visitors can reach the waterfall by following marked paths from Sholokhove village, with spring bringing stronger water flows for better viewing. The terrain can be slippery along the way, especially after rain.
The water forms natural granite basins along its descent, creating pool-like formations at different levels. These basins fill differently depending on the season and water volume.
