The construction of this religious building commenced after Ukraine's period of state atheism, marking a return to public religious expression in the 1990s.
The interior spaces display sacral minimalism through its iconography, merging traditional religious art with contemporary architectural elements in the worship environment.
The church building accommodates 1,000 people and maintains regular services, educational programs, and community activities throughout the calendar year.
Architect Radoslav Zuk received the State Prize of Ukraine for architecture in 2011 for this design, which integrated local volunteers in construction.
