Церква Володимира і Ольги

The Church of Vladimir and Olga is a Greek Catholic house of worship in Lviv with four domes representing the four evangelists that rise to a height of 57 meters (187 feet). The structure displays the classic architecture of Eastern Orthodox style with its characteristic cupolas.

The foundation stone was consecrated in August 1990, with construction beginning the following year in September 1991 during Ukraine's path toward independence. The building emerged during this significant period of national renewal.

The church is a place of worship for the Greek Catholic community and bears the names of two important saints revered in Eastern Christian tradition. Visitors can observe religious practices and see artworks that reflect the spiritual life of this community.

The church is located on Symonenka Street and welcomes visitors to attend various services held throughout the week. A library is available for those interested in exploring religious topics in greater depth.

The interior murals were created by a team of artists led by Roman Vasylyk, a professor at the Lviv Academy of Arts, giving the sacred space a distinctive artistic character. This collaboration brings a scholarly and creative vision to the decoration.
