Blossom Music Center, Outdoor concert hall in Cuyahoga Falls, United States
Blossom Music Center is an outdoor concert hall in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, with a covered pavilion and an open lawn area behind it. The pavilion offers fixed seating, while the lawn accommodates blankets and folding chairs.
The venue opened in 1968 as a permanent summer home for the Cleveland Orchestra. Architects Peter van Dijk and Schafer, Flynn & van Dijk designed the pavilion in collaboration with landscape architect Dan Kiley.
This venue serves as the summer home for the Cleveland Orchestra, which performs here from June through September. Visitors experience how the city's orchestral tradition connects with the natural setting of the national park.
Visitors should bring blankets or low chairs for lawn events, as the terrain slopes gently downward. Access roads can be busy before show time, so arriving early helps.
The name comes from the nearby Blossom Hill Farm that once stood on this land. The surrounding woods sometimes attract deer that can be seen at the edge of parking areas during twilight.
